What is WOW?

The WOW Futures Fair helps eighth graders in Clarke County discover career options and gives them a chance to explore what their future could look like. It's all about opening doors, asking questions, and finding paths that inspire students.

The first Annual WOW Futures Fair was held on March 6, 2026 at Athens Technical College. The inaugural Event was a tremendous success. Nearly 800 eighth‑grade students from CCSD had the opportunity to explore the wide range of career pathways and educational options available right here in Athens‑Clarke County. More than 50 employers representing industries such as healthcare, utilities, skilled trades, advanced manufacturing, military service, hospitality, and professional services were on site to showcase their fields and engage with students.
