David Bradley - President/CEO




David has had the opportunity to serve as President of two other Chambers of Commerce in North Carolina since 1998. Prior to that, he ran a plastics extrusion plant in North Carolina. David became the CEO/President of the AACOC in 2018 and is excited for all of the opportunities and challenges that this new role brings.




What is your favorite thing about Athens?

Big city amenities with small town charm.

Favorite Athens event?

Wild Rumpus

Favorite food?

Pizza with cold beer. Well... anything with cold beer, really.

Fun fact?

I have acted in, directed, and/or re-written around 40 community theater shows.

Lindsay Brannen- Director of Community Outreach




Lindsay received her BBA from the University of Georgia in 2002. She has been working for the Athens Area Chamber since April of 2016. Lindsay juggles several responsibilities here at the Chamber, but her main focus is engaging with the community and helping local businesses and organizations understand how beneficial a Chamber membership can be for them.



What is your favorite AACOC event?

Hands down, Small Business Breakfast Club. Each month a panel of local business owners are eager to share their knowledge and expertise on a variety of relevant topics. Attendees enjoy learning things that they can apply to their own business. It's a great blend of both networking and education. Join us soon to see for yourself!

Favorite thing to do in Athens?

Live music. Dinner + a show = my favorite date night <3

If you could have any superpower, what would it be? 

I can't imagine any greater feeling than to fly!

Becky Beasley- Accountant




Becky is a CPA and has vast experience working in several different financial positions. She was a Financial Services Manager and Financial Analyst for Coca-Cola affiliated companies and on audit staff for public accounting firms Grant Thorton and Deloitte, just to name a couple positions she's held.  She helps us track all of our financials and makes sure that we stay in budget.

If you could be famous for any reason, what would you want it to be?

Kim Childs- Director of Member Services




The majority of Kim's professional background is in corporate banking, but prior to coming to Athens, she worked for 4 1/2 years at another Metro Atlanta Chamber. She now helps coordinate all of our events and assists our members in any way that she can.




Favorite Chamber event?

My favorite events are those put on by the Women in Business committee. These events always include networking, but also focus on topics and themes that support the busy work/life balance our women professionals.

Favorite thing about Athens?

The people - everyone is so friendly and welcoming!

Favorite food?

Just about any type of Mexican food.

Fun Fact?

I am a Master Gardener and enjoy beekeeping with my husband!


Daxter Selton- Community Development Manager




Daxter recently received a degree from the University of Georgia in Business Management. While in college he interned at two commercial real estate firms. After becoming licensed in 2016, he worked for three years at Wilson Hutchison Realty both leasing and selling industrial, office, and retail space. While there, he also spent eight months in 2017-2018 helping lead operations for the Alpharetta Chamber of Commerce. There he discovered an interest in Chamber affairs and soon after began working for the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce.


What is your favorite AACOC event?

Business After Hours. It allows people to interact and connect in a more relaxed environment.

Favorite TV Show?

Game of Thrones circa 2017

What do you like to do for fun?

Mud runs, obstacle races, and hiking

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you bring?

Metal pot, flint, and life alert

Madelyn McNeely- Social Media Coordinator




Madelyn is from North Carolina and currently a senior at the University of Georgia majoring in Marketing with an emphasis in Digital Marketing and double minoring in Communication Studies and Fashion Merchandising. She has worked for the AACOC for over a year now and currently runs all of our social media pages, creates our weekly newsletter and event graphics, and helped design this new website.



Favorite thing to do in Athens?

Grab brunch and go shopping downtown.

Favorite Athens restaurant?

Last Resort Grill- make sure you get dessert!

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

The ability to control the outcome of sporting events- GO DAWGS!

Fun fact?

I can ski, snowboard, and scuba dive.
