Food to Clarke County School District Community Fund
Despite the mandatory closure of public schools the CCSD wants to ensure children have access to food during this crisis. All donations will be directed for the benefit of all food related efforts conducted by CCSD during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
Athens Works Initiative
The "Athens Works Initiative" gives people and essential businesses the opportunity to sponsor and connect with Athens's severely impacted restaurant industry. Take the pledge and become apart of the growing initiatives sponsorship community.
Red Cross
The Red Cross has an urgent need for platelets, blood and volunteers. There are a wide range of ways to give back including work-from-home opportunities.
Community Response Fund
The COVID-19 Community Response Fund, hosted by the Athens Area Community Foundation and in partnership with United Way of Northeast Georgia, has been established to support local nonprofit organizations as they work to respond to the effects of COVID-19.
Food Bank
The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia is a 501(c)3 that gathers donated items and purchased surplus food and distributes it to human-service agencies. These smaller non-profits then distribute that food to local community members in need. $1 donation can service four meals.
